We already have internal training in diversity and communication. How is this different?

Most internal trainings are generic and awareness-oriented. This program is highly tailored and action-oriented. We focus on real scenarios from your workplace and develop specific protocols for your team. Also, internal teams sometimes lack the neutral ground and deep expertise needed to surface tough issues. As an external specialist, I bring fresh eyes, confidentiality, and science-based methods to get results that internal efforts often miss.

Will this take a lot of time? Our teams are extremely busy.

We know time is the most precious resource. That’s why our approach is efficient and laser-focused. The upfront diagnostic actually saves time by pinpointing where to focus. Workshops are designed to fit into half-day slots or around existing meetings whenever possible. Coaching sessions are typically 60-90 minutes bi-weekly, scheduled at your convenience (and we can do them via video for flexibility). In total, the time commitment is modest compared to the time wasted in one more month of unproductive meetings. In fact, clients often find the total hours invested in this program are earned back very quickly through faster decision cycles. We also handle a lot of prep and follow-up via email, so every live session is maximally productive.

How do we measure ROI or success of a ‘communication’ program?

We define success metrics with you at the start. If it’s a team engagement, we might measure things like meeting lengths and frequency of revisiting decisions (targeting a reduction), project turnaround times, or employee survey scores on communication and trust (targeting an increase). For individual coaching, we can measure progress via 360-feedback or specific goal attainment (e.g. “deliver presentation X successfully” or “no attrition in team over Y months”). We often conduct a before-and-after survey to quantify improvements in clarity and alignment. We’ll also have regular check-ins to ensure the program is hitting your targets. Because we use an assessment-driven approach, you’ll have hard data and tangible anecdotes to demonstrate ROI and justify the investment. If needed, we help you present these results to your stakeholders (like a post-engagement report for your leadership or HR team).

What if, after the initial assessment, I don’t think I need an intervention?

That is exactly why the assessment is the first step of the process. If, after it, there is no clear, applicable point of correction, the process does not move forward. You will not be charged for services you do not need.
